the half moon motel is quite quaint, if you like dodgy stairs and a bathroom designed for dwarfs. who knew that a bed could feel like a marshmallow? upon arriving, i expected at least some pampering but alas, no upgrades were offered. slight oversight, wouldn’t you say? i almost considered a good review but just couldn’t.

The owners were friendly and made us feel welcomed. Our quadruple room was clean, with a retro vibe that added charm to our stay. The view of the lake and mountains from our room was truly exceptional, making mornings delightful. We enjoyed being just a block away from the water and attractions, which made exploring convenient.
However, some shops and restaurants were closed for the season, limiting our options.

We had an amazing stay! The location was perfect, near Weirs Beach, and we enjoyed a scenic stroll at Ellacoya State Park. We also loved the balcony view of Lake Winnipesaukee while relaxing with our special needs son's autism support dog.
My children wished for a larger pool area to play in.
